Here’s an overhead view of The Speyer Cathedral, a UNESCO site and one of the main attractions for this small city in the Rhineland. The other attraction in Speyer is the Christmas Market, which is one of a few in Germany that stay open until the New Year. We visited the market and here are some of our pictures.
This market was much bigger than any we had seen in Poland, and yet is considered ‘small’ for German Christmas Market standards.
Extravagant booths, Drinking Gluhwein, Watching a stand make Nutella filled Crepes.
A merry-go-round, Selection of eats at a grill, Decorated Ginger bread, “You are my honey”.
